The Legacy Series 305 is our most popular unit in the Legacy Series and has a 305 gallon capacity. This unit is loaded with the features you need to get the job done as efficiently and effectively as possible. It is completely wireless and controlled via bluetooth through the VSI Spray Control App. The app also gives you the ability to track jobs and make adjustments in real time depending on conditions. This unit is capable of handling 3-3.5 acres post treatment application and 6-9 acres in a pretreatment application. This sprayer offers standard features that other companies would consider upgrades or add-ons.

Three Lane “Pile Driver” Boom

Our Three Lane Pile Driver Boom design has undergone rigorous torture and field testing to ensure its durability and resilience against accidental impacts. Equipped with a robust, heavy-duty metal shroud, it is nearly impervious to damage. Making it highly reliable. The boom features jet tips for efficient post-treatment and high-speed pretreatment applications and broadcast tips that ensure uniform coverage during low-speed pretreatment applications.

Smartphone Connection

VSI by BOSS Legacy sprayers are conveniently controlled through a wireless connection from any smartphone or compatible device. This innovative feature offers a plethora of functionalities, enabling users to adjust and monitor various aspects of their operation easily. With the wireless control app, you can effortlessly track total product usage, monitor usage per account, check the current tank level, and fine-tune the application rate on a per-acre basis. By eliminating the need for a traditional wiring harness, this cutting-edge wireless technology simplifies the setup process and enhances flexibility and convenience for users.

The sprayer features a durable stainless-steel construction that brings numerous advantages. The stainless-steel material's corrosion and rust resistance ensures long-lasting performance even in harsh conditions. It is also easy to clean, preventing residue buildup and maintaining hygiene. The sprayer's stainless steel design guarantees durability, efficiency, and cleanliness.

Self-Loading and Pump Out

Our liquid deicing sprayer is equipped with a convenient self-fill capability. Allowing it to easily draw from storage tanks or other tanks without needing an additional pump. This eliminates the need to purchase extra pumps solely for the purpose of filling storage tanks, streamlining the operation. Furthermore, the sprayer is designed with a powerful 2" line, enabling efficient pumping into other sprayers. In just a matter of minutes, this sprayer can promptly fill smaller sprayers along the route, enabling them to resume spraying operations quickly.

Magnetic Flowmeter

This flow meter contains no moving parts, eliminating the need for calibration or concerns about failure. Unlike turbine flow meters, which require frequent calibration due to density changes in additives and can be off by up to 33% by the end of a season, this flow meter remains accurate throughout the season. Providing reliable performance, ensuring consistent measurements and hassle-free operation.

Kohler Electric Start Engine

The engine used in the system offer exceptional cold-start capabilities and reliable operation even in extreme temperatures. Paired with a 2" Banjo poly pump, these engines deliver ample flow to the boom, enabling the system to achieve a maximum speed of 17 MPH while applying 80 gallons per acre with all three booms engaged. This combination ensures efficient and effective performance, allowing for optimal coverage and productivity during operations.

Full Tube Fork Pockets

Loading and unloading the sprayer is made effortless and worry-free, including front and side fork pockets. These specially designed pockets eliminate the risk of damaging any plumbing during the process. Whether using forks from the front or sides, the sprayer can be securely loaded in various situations. Fork pockets provide convenience and peace of mind, ensuring a smooth and safe loading experience without concerns about potential plumbing damage.

Integrated Battery Charger

This built-in charger eliminates the need for separate charging equipment or external chargers. Users can easily connect the sprayer to a power source and replenish the battery's charge between events. This feature enhances convenience and usability, ensuring the sprayer is always ready for operation. Allowing users to focus on their deicing tasks without worrying about battery life.

100’ Electric Rewind Hose Reel

VSI by BOSS liquid deicing sprayers feature a state-of-the-art 100' Electric Rewind Hose Reel. With a generous length of 100 feet, the hose reel provides ample reach, allowing easy access to distant areas. The electric rewind mechanism allows you to effortlessly retract the hose on your app, the wireless controller, or with the button on the control box. This streamlines the workflow, saving time and reducing strain on the operator. The hose reel is specifically engineered to withstand the demands of liquid deicing applications, ensuring reliable performance in challenging conditions.
